Sonu Sood / Nari Nitti empowering tribal women pan India and working towards empowering the tiger widows of Sundarbans. Till now impacted 1 lac tribal women through her initiatives, distributed 80 lacs plus free meals - adopted 32 orphanages and 800 sex workers. During the pandemic, Neeti founded the Khaanachaiye Foundation, which provided 80 lac free meals to the homeless and needy, and 60k ration kits to support families in need. She transported 1.5 lac migrant workers back home during the pandemic with Bollywood actor Sonu Sood through her family trust, LB Trust, and rebuilt 1000 homes in Raigarh which were destroyed due to Nisarg cyclone. Neeti has empowered the tiger widows of Sundarbans (3000 women in 35 islands in Sundarbans whose husbands have been mauled and eaten up by tigers) by helping them become independent entrepreneurs by donating sheep, fish, and helping them with goat rearing, fish farming to earn a livelihood. On her recent project, Neeti is working on the Wht Now campaign - youth voice against cyber harassment in collaboration with Police and Govt of Maharashtra. She has set up a helpline for cyber harassed victims and sextortion cases, helps them with counselling and legal advice along with hand holding them to file a complaint and take the content down. The campaign has become viral among youth and widely appreciated pan India. Neeti says a woman is a full circle within herself, she has the power to create, nurture and transform. Neeti has acclaimed restaurants like Keiba, Ostaad, Madras Diaries, Takumi, Imlee, House of Ko, and Amore Stays Alibagh. She was awarded the Restaurateur of the Year at the Eiffel Tower in Paris and 2 of her restaurants are among the top 50 in the world.
